The Pickleball World Cup 2025 ended with a home celebration.
In front of packed stands at The FORT Pickleball complex, the United States team won the PRO category final 4-0 against Hong Kong-China and took home the trophy for the tournament held between October 27 and November 2.
The event brought together 68 countries , more than 3,000 participants , and occupied 43 courts, four of them in stadiums and one central court, consolidating Fort Lauderdale as the global epicenter of the sport during the decisive week.

With a solid performance in all matches, Team USA confirmed their status as favorites against Hong Kong-China: 4-0 in the decisive series. Official event records and independent broadcasts confirm the lopsided score that secured the title for the hosts.
Gold also in the 50+ category.
In addition to the PRO title, the United States came out on top in the 50+ category, beating Italy (independent athletes) and completing their sweep of the major team cups in Florida.
Structure and audience: an “Olympic week” for pickleball
The World Cup combined team matches (singles, doubles and mixed doubles) with an international tournament by age groups and levels, clinics and certifications, transforming The FORT into a festival of the sport.
The venue, located just minutes from Fort Lauderdale Airport, hosted the marathon of matches, with tickets and activities open to the public throughout the week.

Brazil advanced in 2nd place in Group Q, with two 6-0 victories over Antigua and Barbuda and Haiti, and a narrow 4-3 defeat to Portugal. The qualification was secured with authority and a good result, confirmed in the delegation's bulletins and broadcasts.
PRO category, top 16 worldwide.
In the PRO knockout stage, the Brazilian team opened with a 4-0 victory over Chinese Taipei , securing a place among the top 16. In the round of 16, they stumbled against New Zealand, losing 3-1, and said goodbye with a consistent performance against competitive opponents.
Category 50+ group leader but eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Among the senior team, Brazil led the group with three 6-0 victories against Germany, Cuba, and Panama. In the quarterfinals, a 4-1 loss to Italy (independent athletes) ended their campaign. Game records and team posts confirm this trajectory.

Brazil finishes 5th with 23 podium finishes.
With the combined results from the PRO and 50+ categories, Brazil finished the week in 5th place overall, with 23 medals: 11 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze, according to the official update at the end of the fifth day and closing posts.

The United States closed the week with absolute dominance , confirming their depth of squad, precise tactical execution, and composure in key moments. It was an indisputable title within the script of those who dictate the pace of the sport today.
Brazil, for its part, was not lacking . It had good flashes of brilliance, won convincingly when needed, and showed that it has the potential for greater achievements. Its presence among the top 16 in the PRO category , its group leadership in the 50+ category, and its Top-5 finish in the medal count reinforce a promising scenario.
The contextual message also remains: pickleball has gained global recognition.
The World Cup in Florida has solidified a format that combines spectacle, development, and a critical mass of athletes. If the Brazilian youth system maintains its pace of technical and organizational evolution, the next edition could find a more mature, more in-depth, and more competitive team, ready to transform flashes of brilliance into the consistency of a finalist.
