Samy Dana Cup Pickleball: When the game becomes a bridge to social inclusion.
Have you ever imagined competing in a tournament and, at the same time, helping to transform the lives of children and young people?
What if, in addition to competing, you participated in a movement that brings health, education, and a sense of belonging beyond the lines of the court?
That's exactly the idea behind the Samy Dana Cup Pickleball, an event that combines sport and solidarity and promises to shake things up in São Paulo in December.
What is Samy Dana Cup Pickleball?
The Samy Dana Cup is a non-profit tournament: all proceeds will go to the Pickleball Transforma Project , an initiative that uses pickleball as a tool for inclusion and social impact . It's a competition with a purpose – playing well and doing good.
Who is behind the event and the project?

Organization and execution: partnership between the São Paulo Pickleball Federation (FPP) and Arena Via Pickleball , responsible for hosting the matches and accommodating athletes and the public.

Name and institutional support: the tournament is named after the economist, communicator and JOOLA ambassador Samy Dana , a supporter of the sport and the social cause.
- Beneficiary project: Pickleball Transforma is a social initiative supported by the pickleball community with teachers, volunteers and partners that brings the sport to schools and communities to develop athletic and socio-emotional skills.

Putting my name on the Samy Dana Cup is my way of promoting the sport and helping to fund Pickleball Transforma, which brings sport and education to those who need it.
During the tournament, the Arena Via Pickleball will become home to those who believe that pickleball and inclusion can go hand in hand.
